Quickstart

Prerequisites

• A Cosmo account at https://app.meetcosmo.ai
• An Instagram account with messaging enabled or a WhatsApp number (Twilio-supported)

Step 1 — Create your workspace

1. Sign in to https://app.meetcosmo.ai.
2. Complete onboarding: business name, country, currency, use case.

Step 2 — Connect a channel

​

Instagram Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click Instagram Direct card
3. Provide your Instagram Account ID
4. Connect via the Instagram section in Integrations

WhatsApp Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click WhatsApp Business card
3. Add your WhatsApp number or provision via Twilio
4. Webhooks are automatically set to receive messages at /api/v1/commerce/receive-message

Step 3 — Add AI Knowledge

Paste Text

1. Go to AI → Knowledge
2. Click + Add Knowledge
3. Paste your business information, FAQs, or policies
4. Give it a title and save

Upload Content

1. Go to AI → Knowledge
2. Click + Add Knowledge
3. Upload documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT)
4. Cosmo will extract and process the content

​

Import Website

1. Go to AI → Knowledge
2. Click + Add Knowledge
3. Enter your website URL
4. Cosmo will crawl and import relevant content

Step 4 — Use the Inbox

• See live conversations from Instagram/WhatsApp.
• Search, filter by type, and reply. Toggle bot on/off per conversation.

Step 5 — Escalate with Tickets (optional)

• From the Inbox, create a ticket to track follow-ups and assign ownership.
